. After the desired level of darkness has been reached, the toaster will beep 3 times
indicating your food is ready. The food will not pop up automatically.
If you have selected both the defrosting and keep warm features, the unit will
NOTE:
beep once when the defrosting and toasting processes are completed and then switch
automatically to the keep warm function for 5 minutes.
. Carefully remove the toasted food from the bread slots.

Toasted food can be very hot, especially pastry fillings. Handle with care.
WARNING:
To remove food jammed in the bread slots, unplug the toaster and remove the food
TIP:
once the toaster has cooled down.
Never insert your fingers or metallic utensils into the bread slots.
WARNING:
If you wish to cancel the defrost function, please follow one of the 2 steps below:
a. Prior to starting the toasting process – Simply wait for 10 seconds and this feature will
automatically turn off or press the defrost button once within the 10-second time
frame to cancel it.
b. During toasting process – Push the start/cancel button once to stop both processes, i.e.
defrosting and toasting.

cleaning your toaster

After use and before cleaning, unplug the toaster power cord from the power outlet and
wait for the toaster to cool.

Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth and then dry it with another cloth
or paper towel. Do not use abrasive cleaners; they will damage the toaster's finish.
Do not use any pointed or sharp articles for cleaning the inside of the

toaster; this may damage the product.

Lightly tap the sides of the toaster to dislodge any crumbs caught in the toast chamber.

Remove the crumb tray to clean it. Your toaster has a full bottom
removable/magnetic tray that can be removed for complete
cleaning. See figure 8. Wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth or
hand wash it with soapy water and a soft sponge. Dry it well prior
to placing it back in the unit.
The removable tray should not be washed in the
CAUTION:
dishwasher.
4.
Be certain to put the crumb tray back into the unit before using the toaster again. The
toaster will not turn on without the bottom tray.
Empty the crumb tray frequently. Crumbs will accumulate in the crumb tray
WARNING:
and could catch fire if not emptied periodically.
