AVerIR Set Up
(optional installation features)
The remote control is compatible with Microsoft Vista Media Center Edition. If you want to use the remote control on
Windows Vista Media Center, you need to install the driver with AVerIR function and set Windows Vista Media Center
as the default TV application. To activate the AVerIR function, please visit AVerMedia website
(http://www.avermedia.com) for the most updated driver and follow the steps below:
Install the AVerIR
1. Download the driver with AVerIR function according to your device model from AVerMedia website.
2. Double-click the name of the .exe file you downloaded to install the driver
Note: It will overwrite your existing driver.
3. If installation success, you can see an added "AVerMedia Infrared Receiver" item in Device Manager.
4. Right-click AVerQuick, choose "Setting", and select the preferred application in the "Application" tab. Then
you can use the remote control packaged with AVerMedia product to remote the Windows Media Center.
