Your TVC-300 free-standing speaker volume control operates satisfactorily with 4, 8, or 16 Ohm
speakers. There is little heat generated when the control is used, so it can be placed anywhere for
convenient operation. This makes it ideal for chairside or bedside operation.

Measured at full power, 8 Ohm load. Most controls better these specifications.

with bridging type outputs.
Connections to amplifiers and speakers are illustrated in the back of these instructions. Remember that
the LEFT and RIGHT circuits are separate, so connections must be made correctly or the system will not
operate properly
Prepare the wire for connection by stripping about 3/16" from the ends. Twist strands tightly so that no
loose ends stick out to cause problems with short circuits. Make connection to the rear panel terminals by
pushing the connector tabs toward the chassis until the wire hole is fully open. Insert the wire ends release
the tab. Make sure that the stripped portion of the wire makes contact with the metal conductor part of the
connector, and that no loose strands exist to cause short circuits.
Place control in its intended operating location. Locate connecting wires out of the way so that they
will not be tripped over or tangle with nearby furniture. SUGGESTION: Leave control 3 or 4 positions
CCW from maximum before firing up the system for the first time to avoid "blasting" the speakers while
still having enough sound to observe operation.

defects in workmanship and materials. Any defects will be remedied without charge for labor or parts.
Damage incurred by shipping or accident is not considered to be a defect, and not covered by this
warranty. AUDIOPLEX TECHNOLOGY(tm), is not responsible for defective operation caused by abuse
or by modification or service by any unauthorized person or agency.
The unit must be properly installed and operated according to instructions for the warranty to apply .
Any necessary servicing must be done by AUDIOPLEX TECHNOLOGY. The products must be returned
expenses prepaid, with written authorization from the company. The product must be shipped with the
proof of purchase and in the original carton and packing material to avoid damage.
