Placing Originals

How to Place Originals

On the ADF
Acceptable Paper Type
Original Size: A3, B4, A4, A4-R, A5, A5-R, FLS (8" x 13", 8.5" x 13"), 5.5" x 8.5" (Invoice),
Paper Weight: 1 sided: 50-105 g/m
Notice for ADF
Do not use the following type / flawed originals.
Drawing papers, Transparencies, Labeling paper, Heavy weight papers, Thin Art papers, Film, Thermal papers.
Papers which are curled, ripped, creased, folded, punched, glued, stapled, or self-adhesive.
Pressure sensitive or carbon backed papers.
Paper which is still wet with color ink or white-out.
A3, B4, A4, A4-R, A5, A5-R, or FLS sized papers can be scanned from the ADF, but the size is not
displayed on the Touch Panel Display.
On the Platen Glass
Ex: Book Original
Face down.
Align with top left corner.
