Returning to the previous display or the stand-
by display
To return to the previous display or the stand-by display after selecting a
function or menu option from a menu screen, select Back or Exit. Pressing
the [END] key while any function or menu option is selected, returns to the
stand-by display.
Meanwhile, when you are playing music with the music player, giving a
short press on the [End] key causes the screen to be returned to the stand-
by display. At this time, however, note that playback of the music continues
in the background. To close the music player and stop playback as well,
press and hold the [End] key for more than one second.
Changing how the menu is displayed
You can customise how the menu is displayed using the following
procedure:
1. From the stand-by display, press Menu » Options » Main menu view.
2. Select one of the following options:
List: Displays one main menu item with a large icon filling out the screen at a

time. To move to the next menu item, press the [Joystick] key (Down). To
return to the previous item, press the [Joystick] key (Up).
Grid (default setting): Lists all of the nine main menu items with small icons
>
on the same screen. You can change the positions of the icons as you wish;
for example, you may move the icons of functions that you use most often, to
the top of the screen.
Tab: Displays all the main menu items with even smaller icons along the top
>
line of the screen. When any icon is selected, its submenu items are shown
underneath, listed vertically. To move between the main menu items shown at
the top line, press the [Joystick] key (Left) or (Right). To scroll the submenu list
shown underneath, press the [Joystick] key (Up) or (Down).

The Time menu contains submenus
for an alarm clock, a countdown timer
and a stopwatch.
You can also set the date and time on
this menu.
As a VERTU Club member, you can
use the Concierge, Web, and Fortress
services from the VERTU Club menu.
In addition, this menu allows any user
to contact Vertu Customer Service.
For Concierge, you can press the
[Concierge] key as well on the right
side of your Vertu phone to contact
them via phone or e-mail.
The Additions menu allows you to
use the video and music player as well
as Travel application. It also allows
you to play preinstalled games.
