If the s hift knob is exc es s ively heated/ c ooled by air temperature and/ or s unlight,

toughing it may res ult in a s uperfic ial burn or fros tbite.

When s hifting under s uc h c onditions , we rec ommend wearing driving gloves or

waiting until the s hift knob reac hes a s uitable temperature.

knob.

(2) Un-screw and remove exis ting shift knob.
