Help Menu
Choose the Help menu to display the About Axcent Wire option. Figure 13 shows
the Help menu. The menu option description follows.
About Axcent Wire

File Description
Enter the file description in the template areas 6 through 12 shown below. Use the
mouse to move the entry point to any one of the data (text) entry positions. Figure
15 illustrates the file description field items of the NEW data entry screen. Refer to
Figure 1 or to the Using AXCENTWire section to see a complete NEW file data entry
template.

DealerID—This entry is mandatory. Enter up to 11 characters for the

DealerID code. Make sure the first character of the dealer name is an alpha
character. Only the first 8 characters (and the extension .AXC) are used as
the filename when you save the file. Examples of unique file names are:
ABC1Dealer or ABC 1 Dealer = ABC1DEAL.AXC
ABC2Dealer or ABC 2 Dealer = ABC2DEAL.AXC
ABC3Dealer or ABC 3 Dealer = ABC3DEAL.AXC
