Mega Bar PRO™
LED Display On/Off:
To make the display stay ON all of the time
press the MODE and UP buttons at the same time. To make the dis-
play turn OFF after 20 seconds, press the MODE and DOWN buttons
at the same time.

Operating Modes:

You can use the Mega Bar PRO™ in either a stand alone mode or a
master/slave configuration, there are 5 modes to choose from:
• Programs Mode - Select one of 17 different programs. You can
adjust the speed, flash rate, and fade time of certain programs.
• Auto Mode - The unit will automatically chase through the different
programs.
• Sound-Active mode - The unit will react to sound, chasing through
the built in programs.
• RGB Mode - Select either red, green, blue, or adjust the colors to
make a deisred color, which will remain static.
• DMX control mode - This function will allow you to control each
individual fixtures traits with a standard DMX 512 controller such as
as the Elation
Show Designer™.
®
Programs Mode:
There are 17 programs to choose from.
1. Plug the fixture in and press the MODE button until"PR.XX" is
displayed. When "PR.XX" is displayed you are in Program mode.
2. Select your desired program in by pressing either the UP or DOWN
buttons. There are 17 programs to choose from.
3. After you have selected your desired program, press the SETUP
button to adjust the different features the different programs have
to offer. Please see the next section for a discription of the fea-
tures and adjustments.
FEATURES AND ADJUSTMENTS
• When "SP.XX" is displayed you are adjusting the speed of the pro-
gram. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust. The speed can be
adjusted from "SP.01" the slowest, to "SP.FL" the fastest. Press the
SETUP button when you are finished, to either go to the next fea-
ture adjustment or to exit to the Program menu. NOTE: This ad-
justment is only available with Programs 2-16.
• When "Fd.XX" is displayed you are adjusting the fade speed of the

program. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust. The fade time
can be adjusted from "Fd.01" the fastest, to "Fd.99" the slowest.
Press the SETUP button when you are finished, to exit to the Pro-
gram menu. NOTE: This adjustment is only available with Pro-
grams 2-16.
PROGRAMS 13, 14, & 17 -
When running Programs 13, 14, & 17 you can adjust the two colors in
the color flow.
1. When either Programs 13, 14, or 17 is displayed, press the SETUP
button.
2. One of 6 colors will be displayed (R, RG, G, GB, B, RB). Press the
UP or DOWN buttons to scroll through the color selections. When
you have found your desired color press the SETUP button to se-
lect the other half of your color flow.
3. Once you have found your second color press the SETUP button to
run your color flow.

Auto Mode:

1. Plug the fixture in and press the MODE button until "AUTO" is
displayed. You are now in AUTO mode.
2. You can press the SETUP button to enter into the AUTO cycle
adjustment menu. "N.XXX" will now be displayed. You can now
set the amount of times each program will cycle through Auto
Mode. The cycle rate is adjustable from "N.001"-"N.100". 001 will
have a program cycle once and then move on to the next pro-
gram. 100 will have a program cycle 100 times and then move on
to the next program. Press the SETUP button again once you have
found your desired cycle rate.
Example: "If N.002 is set, program 2 will cycle twice and then
switch to program 3. Program 3 will cycle twice and then switch
to program 4, and so on. It will continue to run like this until you
switch operating mode, or change your cycle rate.

Sound Active Mode:

In this mode the Mega Bar PRO™ will react to sound, and chase
through the different colors.
1. Plug the fixture in and press the MODE button until "SU.XX" is dis-
played. The fixture will now change color via sound.
