To write 'Yin':
Press
three times,
twice, and
If needed, scroll to the desired character to
highlight it and press Select.
Using Zhuyin (BoPoMoFo) input
method.
Make sure you have selected Traditional Chinese
under Language Menu 4-5-1. You can key in
(BoPoMoFo) symbols by pressing the
corresponding number key for the (BoPoMoFo)
symbol once or more. Then scroll to the desired
character and select it with Select. Tone marks
are located on

the first tone mark, twice for the second etc.
Note: If you need to add a space, change the in-
put method temporarily.

Using Stroke input method
You can key in Traditional or Simplified Chinese
characters (depending on your language
settings) by inputting strokes in the correct
order as in natural writing habit or in
accordance to Standard for Stroke Order of
Commonly Used Chinese Characters providing
for easy intuitive input. When you have keyed in
a stroke, the candidate character list will
appear. To shorten the candidate list, key in as
many symbols or strokes as possible for the
desired character. Only the six latest keyed in
strokes are shown together on the display. If you
make a mistake, you can delete the latest stroke
by pressing Clear.
