Before attempting to remedy one of the fol-
lowing causes, switch the dryer off and switch on again
to start the programme again.
Ventilation to the dryer is in-
sufficient (e.g because it is
installed in a room which is
too small).
The laundry was not suffi-
ciently spun.
The dryer has been over-
loaded.
Metallic components, e.g.
zips have prevented the
dryer from registering the
correct moisture level in the
laundry.
The fluff filter is blocked.
The vent ducting or the
ventilation outlet (e.g. win-
dow or wall vent) is
blocked.
Open a door or window
while the machine is in op-
eration for increased air
flow.
Spin the laundry in the
washing machine at the
highest possbile spin
speed.
Observe the maximum
loads for the programme
selected.
In future use a TIMED
DRYING programme for
these garments.
Clean the fluff filter.
Check all parts of the ex-
traction system on a regular
basis (e.g. wall vent, exter-
nal grille, bends in the
ducting etc.) and make
sure they are free of any
hindrance. Remove any
fluff.
