Connecting the Speakers

Installing the Card
Shut your computer down, unplug it from its power source, and insert the Revolution 5.1
PCI card into an available PCI slot. For specific instructions on how to do this, please refer
to the Revolution 5.1 Manual's "Hardware Setup" section. Restart the computer.
Running the Installer
Insert the Revolution CD-ROM into your Macintosh CD-ROM drive and double-click the
Revolution CD icon that will appear on your desktop. In the Revolution CD-ROM window,
double-click the "Mac OS X" folder. Then, double-click the M-Audio Revolution "M-Audio
Revolution Installer.dmg" file. A 'virtual' disk called "M-Audio Revolution Software" will
open on your desktop. Double-click the "M-Audio Revolution.mpkg" and follow the
instructions on each screen.

Note: For Mac OS X systems below version 10.3, open the Revolution 5.1 control panel
to activate Circle Surround II™ and adjust the speaker settings. (Versions prior to 10.3
do not support AC-3 and DTS.) Apple DVD Player supports AC-3 and DTS on systems
with Mac OS X 10.3 and higher.
