Care should be taken in unpacking and assembly of the vehicle. Children should not handle parts, including the battery, or help in assembly of the vehicle.
  • Page 9 Wrench Lock Nut • Fit the lock nut (rounded side up) on to the end of the steering column. • Tighten the lock nut firmly using the closed end of the wrench. Steering Column • “Snap” the steering column cap over the steering column and onto front wheel assembly.
  • Page 10 • Wipe the vehicle with a clean, dry cloth to remove any oils before applying labels. • Apply labels exactly as shown in the illustrations. Starting at the center of a label rub firmly with a dry cloth, and smooth towards the outer edges to remove air bubbles.

    BATTERY CARE If a battery leak develops, avoid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged battery in a plastic bag. See next section for proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or eyes, flush with cool water for at least 15 minutes and call a physician. If acid is internally ingested, give water, milk of magnesia or egg whites immediately.
