The More settings menu provides access to additional wireless and network options, such as
mobile networks, VPN, roaming, NFC, and more.
Airplane Mode
Airplane Mode allows you to use many of your phone's features, such as Gallery, Camera, and
Music, when you are on an airplane or in any other area where making or receiving calls or data
is prohibited. When you set your phone to Airplane Mode, it cannot send or receive any calls or
access online information.
To quickly turn Airplane Mode on or off:
► Press and hold the power button, and then touch Airplane mode in the Device options

VPN Settings
A virtual private network (VPN) is a network that uses a public telecommunication infrastructure,
such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or individual users with secure access to their

Tethering & Portable Hotspot Settings
Use the settings menu to configure your Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot settings, which allow you to
share your phone's data service with multiple Wi-Fi capable devices. For details on your

The NFC (Near Field Communication) settings menu lets you turn NFC on or off. For more

Wi-Fi Direct Settings
Wi-Fi Direct allows Wi-Fi devices to connect to each other without the need for a wireless
access point. The Wi-Fi client and the hotspot operation will be disabled while Wi-Fi direct is
enabled.
