AUXILIARY
FENCE
Certain
types
of
molding
need
a
fence
face
extension
due
to
the
size
and
position
of the
workpiece.
Holes
are
provided
in
the
fence
to
attach
an auxiliary
fence
made
of straight
wood
typically
1/2 inch
thick
by
3 inches
high by 20
inches
long.
The auxitary
fence
is used
with
the
saw
in the
0° bevel
position.
If a
bevel
cut
is
desired,
the
auxiliary
fence
will
have
to
be
removed.
