ARNING: Never operate mower
unless the hooks on the grass
catcher are firmly seated in the
slots on the handle bracket as-
semblies, and the rear discharge
door rests firmly against top of
the grass catcher.
6. Followstepsbelowto install t he mulchingbaffle:
a. Lift the rear dischargedoor and lift thegrass
catcherup and off of the pivot rod,if installed.
b. Insertthe mulchingbaffleas shown in Figure5
and releasethe reardischargedoor.
7. The cuttingheightadjustmentleveris locatedabove
the rearleft wheel. See Figure6.
a. Pullthe leverout and awayfrom the mower.
b. Movethe leverforwardor backfor desiredcutting
height.
c. Releaselevertowardsmowerdeck.
8. The adjustment w heelis locatedin the drivecontrol
handle housingand is usedto tightenor loosenthe
drive belt. Youwill haveto adjustthe drivecontrolif
any of the followinghappens:
a. The mowerdoesnot propelitselfwith the drive
control engaged.
b. The mower'sdrive wheelshesitatewith the drive
control engaged.
If eitherof these conditionsoccur,rotatethe adjustment
wheelclockwiseto tightenthe cableand counter-clock-
wise to loosenthe cableto adjustthe drivecontrol.See
Figure7.
