Hi-Fi Stereo Sound System
MTS broadcasts
are automatically
recorded
in Hi-Fi stereo sound.
To play in Hi-Fi
stereo tapes recorded
in Hi-Fi stereo, how-
ever, you'll
need to follow the steps below.
Press the MENU button to bring up the
main menu display.
Press the Number
2 button
to select VCR
SET UP.
Press the Number
4 button
to select
AUDIO
OUT.
Press the Number
1 button to select HIFL
Press the STATUS/EXIT
button.
Press the MENU
button.
Press the Number
3 button to select
TUNER
SET UE
Press the Number
6 button to select TV
STEREO.
Press the STATUS/EXIT
button to exit.
Press the Number

ton to select HIFI.
Press
the MENU
but-
ton to bring
up the
main menu
display.
Press

in both Hi-Fi stereo sound and in
monaural
sottlttL
The audio level of a tape reco_zled in Hi-Fi stere() will d(ff_,r fi'om the audio
level of a ttq_e not recorded
ill Hi-Fi stereo.
Normally,
HIFI shouM be selected fi'om the AUDIO OUT nwnu,[i)r playback
with Hi-Fi sototd.
But, you can dtange the selection
to MONO if you want
monaural
audio playback.
HIFI will then disappearjiwn
the status display,
ff you pk O, non-Hi-Fi
tapes while the VCR is set m HIFI. HIFI will disappear
,[?om the status display and the tape will pko' in monaural
sound.
