Setting Surface & Oven Controls The suggested settings found in the chart below are based on cooking in medium-weight aluminum pans with lids. Settings may vary when using other types of pans. Food spilled on a hot element will burn off. Food spilled on a cool element may be cleaned with a damp cloth--any remaining soil will burn off the next time the element is used.
