Severe
hum or noise is heard.
• Chc_k thal the speakers
and components
are
connected
securely,
• Check that the connecting
cord_ are away from a
tl'_ns_rmer
or motor, and at least 3 metres ( I 0
feet) away from your T¥ set or a fluorescen_
light.
• Move your TV away from the audio components.
• The plugs and j_cks are dirty. Wipe them with a
cloth slightly moistened
with alcohol.
• Clean file disc.
The sound
loses
stereo
effect
when
you play a
VIDEO
CD, a CD, or an MP3.

to "STEREO"

• Make sure the system
is connected
approprimely.
The surround
effect is difficult
to hear when
you are playing
a Dolby
Digital,
DTS, or MPEG

is too weak
(when ttming in with automatic
tmdng). Use direct
tuoing.
• No stations
have been preset or the preset stations
have been cleared
(when tuning by scanning
preset stations).

so that the freqltency
appears

the display.
The remote
does not function.
• There are obstacles
between tile remote and tile
system.
• The dislance
