After following Step 6
Depending on the disc, a menu may appear on
the TV screen. You can play the disc
interactively by lbllowing the instructions on the
menu. (DVD: page 27), (VIDEO CD: page 28).
To remove the disc
Press DISC 1-5 _ on the system, or _ on the
remote. When you press _ on the remora, lhe
disc in the stocker whose DISC indicalor is
green is ejecled. Remove the disc alter it is
ejected fi'om the system. "READY!" appears in
lhe front panel display.
TO turn on the system
Press I/Q) on the system. The system turns on. in
standby mode, the system also turns on by
pressing _ on the system or by pressing I2>.
To turn off the system
Press I/Q) on the remote. The system enters
standby mode and 1he STANDBY indicalor
lights up in red. To turn off the system
completely, remove the AC power cord from a
wall outlet.
While playing a disc, do not turn off the system
by pressing I/Q) on |he system. Doing so may
cancel the menu settings. When you turn off the
system, first press • to stop playback and lhen
press I/Q) on the remole.
Tip
The DISC 1-5 indicators change their colours as
follows:
green: 1hedisc is chosen, or the disc is being play
backed.
off: there is no disc.
orange: a disc is loaded to the disc stocker,
however, the disc is no_ chosen.
Saving the power in standby
mode
Press I/Q) on the syslem or I/Q) on lhe remote
once.

While tile system is in standby mode, the STANDBY I_
indicator on tile system lights up. '_--,
