The Basic Connection
The basic connection
below (TV and VCR) is the most common
connection
and is therefore
used to illustrate a single
component
connection
with yourTV.
For better sound and
picture quality and multiple
component
connection
information
refer to the next section, Advanced
Connections.
Cables
You will use the following
type of cable to make your
connection:
Coaxial
Cables:
In this connection,
two
coaxial cables are used: one connects from
an antenna, cable, or cable box to the VCR,
and one connects from theVCR to theTV.
These cables carry both audio and video
signals.
