Installing the software
3 Loadthe software:
WindowsOS-based computer--if the install window doesnot appear,
chooseRunfrom the Start menuand type d:\setup.exe where d is the
drive letter that containsthe CD.
Mac OSx--double-click the CD iconon the desktop,then clickthe Install
icon.
Mac OS8.6 or 9.x--on the installwindow, click Continue.
4 Followthe on-screen instructionsto install the software.
WindowsOS-based computer--select Typical t o automaticallyinstall the
most commonlyusedapplications. S electCustomto choosethe
applicationsyouwish to install.
Mac OSx--follow the on-screen instructions.
Mac OS8.6 or 9.x--select Easyto automaticallyinstallthe mostcommonly
usedapplications.
NOTE: When p rompted, take a fewminutes toelectronically register your c amera and software.
This l ets youreceive information regarding software updates and registers some ofthe
products included withthecamera. You must b econnected to your I nternet service
provider toregister electronically. Toregister later, see www.kodak.com/go/register.
5 If prompted,restartthe computer.If youturnedoff anti-virussoftware,turn
it back on. Seethe anti-virussoftwaremanualfor details.
Forinformationonthe softwareapplicationsincludedon the KodakEasyShare
softwareCD,clickthe Helpbutton in the KodakEasyShare software.
