Taking Pictures in I_1 (AUTO) Mode
This section describes how to take pictures in AUTO mode. AUTO mode is automatically selected the
first time the camera is turned on; for information on restoring AUTO mode after shooting in other
modes, see page 31.
Turn the camera on,
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the
camera on.

Check the battery level,
Check the battery level in the monitor.

Description
Battery partially discharged.
Battery more than half discharged.
Low battery. Charge as soon as
>ossible.
Battery exhausted. Turn camera off
and charge battery.
