Lights next to the touch pads on the air conditioner
control panel indicate the selected settings.
COOLMode
Use the COOLInode with HIGH (F3),MED (F2) or
LOW(F1) tim for cooling. Use the INCREASEA /
DECREASE• pads to set the desired temperature
between 60°F and 86°F in 1°F increments.

room temperature. The compressor will cycle on and

NOTE:If the air conditioner is off and is then turned on
while set to COOL, it will take approximately3 minutes
for the compressorto start and cooling to begin.
Cooling Descriptions
For Normal Cooling--Select the COOLmode and
HIGH (1:3)or IVIED(F2)fim with a middle set
temperatm'e.
For Maximum Cooling--Select the COOL mode
and HIGH(F3)fire with a lower set temperature.
For Quieter & Nighttime Cooling--Select the
COOL mode and LOW (F/)tim with a middle set
temperatm'e.
NOTE: If you switch from a COOLsetting to OFF or to
a fan setting, wait at least 3 minutes before switching
back to a COOLsetting.
FAN Mode
Use the FAN at HIGH (F3), MED (F2)or LOW (F/) to Since tim only settings (lo not provide cooling,
provide air circulation and filtering without cooling, a temperatm'e setting will not be displayed.
Power Outage Recovery Feature
In the case oI a power outage or interruption, the
trait will automatically re-start in the settings last
used alter the power is restored. The

a new time if desired.
Vent Control
The vent control is located above the control
panels.
When set at CLOSE,only the air inside the room
will be circulated and conditioned. _,Vhen set at
OPEN, some inside air is exhausted outside.
