Non-self cleaning

Be sure electrical
power
is off and all surfaces
are cool before
cleaning
any part of the range.
If your range is removed for cleaning, servicing or any reason, be sure the anti-tip device
is re-engaged properly when the range is replaced. Failure to take this precaution could
result in tipping of the range and cause injury.
Griddle
NOTES:
_:_Thegriddle is to be used on the center
burner grate only
_Ji:: Do not clean the griddle in a dishwasher
Thoroughly
clean the griddle
of grease
and
fi_od particles,
using a square-edged
spatula,
while it is still hot.
Wipe the griddle
with a dry, heavy, coarse
cloth to remove
any remaining
residue
and
fi_od particles.
Wash with hot soapy water; rinse and dry.
Once the griddle
has cooled,
rub the
surfilce lightly with vegetable
oil. Do not use
corn oil or cooking
spra):s as they get stick?:.
If the griddle
is cleaned
with an}_hing
other
than a dry, heavy, coarse
cloth, it will need
to be reseasoned.
Never flood the hot griddle
with cold water:
This could cause the griddle
to crack or
W_lI'p.
_&sthe griddle
is used and seasoned,
it may
change
color over time.
Griddle Precautions:
_Ji:: If something has spilled under the griddle, it
shouldbe cleaned up as soonas possible to
prevent "bakedon" food soiL
_ Do not allow grease to accumulate under the
griddle as it can be a flYehazard Cleanunderthe
griddle as soon as it is cool C/eanwith hot soapy
