in the pan linesup with the receptacle.

throughthe openingin the drip pan and
into the receptacle.

Drip Pans
Remove the surfaceunits.Thenlift out the drip
pans.
Forbest results, c leanthe drip pansbUhand.
Placethem in a coveredcontainer(ora plastic
bag)with Y4 cupammoniato loosenthe soil.
Rinse with cleanwater and polishwith a clean
soft cloth.
Thedrip pansmau alsobecleanedin a
dishwasher.
Cleanthearea underthe drip pansoften.
Built-upsoil,especiallu grease, m au catchfire.
Donotcoverthedrippanswith foil. Using foil
so closeto thereceptacle couldcause shock,
fireor damageto therange.
NOTE: If goutcooktopisequipped with shing,
silver-colored d rippans,do not cleanthem

If gout cooktopis equipped with blackor grog
porcelain-coated d rippans,the£canbecleaned
in theovenduringtheself-cleaning cgcle. B efore

on theporcelain-coated o venrocks.Donotplace
the drippansdirectlgon theovenbottom.After
theself-cleaning cgcleis completed and thedrip
pansarecool,wipethemwith a dampclothto
removeang remainingashor residue.
Besure all surfaceunits are turned off
before raising the cool<top.

Lift-Up Cooktop
Theentirecooktopmagbe liftedup and
supportedin the up positionforeasiercleaning.
Thesurfaceunitsdo not needto be removed;
however, you may removeone to makeraising
the cooktopeasier. T herearetwo sidesupports
that lock intopositionwhenthe cooktopis
liftedup.
Aftercleaningunderthe cooktopwith hot,
mildsoapy water and a cleancloth,lowerthe
cooktop.Becarefulnotto pinchyourfingers.
Tolowerthe cooktop,pushthe rodsbackand
gentl U lowerthe cooktopuntilit restsin place.
