The chart below will help you match the wash cgcle setting with gour clothing. The chart is ranked from longest to
shortest cgcle time and wash intensitg.
Your washer mag not have all these cgcles. (Cgclesvarg bg model.)
PREWASHFor removing surface dirt from heavilg soiled clothes. Hake sure to follow with a regular wash cgcle.
COTTONSor WHITES(REGULAR WASH/FASTSPIN) For heavg to lightlg soiled cottons, household linens, work and plag
clothes.
EASY CARE(GENTLE WASH/FASTSPIN) For wrinkle-free and permanent press items, and knits.
DELICATES (GENTLE WASH/SLOW SPIN) For lingerie and special-care fabrics with light to normal soil.
DRAIN& SPIN(FAST SPIN) For quicklg rinsing chlorine, perspiration, stains, etc., out of clothes.
15 MIN/30 MIN AUTO SOAK Forverg soiled clothes. Beginswith agitation, soaks for a specified period of time, then
moves through the rest of the cgcle automaticallg.
2nd RINSE Providesan automatic, second rinseto thoroughlg remove detergent or bleach from gour clothes.
FABRIC SOFTENERActivates the FABRIC SOFTENER dispenser cgcle.
Liquid Bleach Funnel
The water fill dilutes liquid chlorine bleach as the washer fills for the wash cgcle.

Never pour undiluted liquid chlorine bleachdirectly onto clothes or into the wash basket.

Do not pour powdered bleach into bleach funnel.
r_ Before starting the washer, pour measured amount of bleach directlg into bleach funnel.
Avoid splashing or over-filling dispenser. If gou prefer to use powdered bleach, add it into
the wash basket with gour detergent.

Do not mix chlorine bleach with ammonia or acids such as vinegar and/or rust remover.
Mixing can produce a toxic gas which may cause death.
Q:What is the difference between Heavy and Light settings?
A: For Cottons, the wash agitation time is increased bg 10 minutes and for Easy Care, bg 6 1/2 minutes. (Timesare
approximate)
Q:What is the difference between Regular and Gentle?
A: Regular means the washer will agitate with normal intensitg during the wash cgcle. Gentle provides a more gentle
wash and slower speeds.
Q:Which cgcle is best for heavilg soiled items?
A: Cottons has the greatest wash intensitg. This cgcle provides the best overall cleaning. Easy Care should be used for
wrinkle-free and permanent press items.
Q: How can I reduce linting?
A: Sort wash loads bg fabric tgpe and whether theg collect lint (velveteen,cordurog) or produce lint (terrg cloth, chenille).
Wash small loads for a shorter amount of time.
Q: How much detergent do I use?
A: For best performance, alwags follow the detergent manufacturer's instructions on usage. Hang detergents are
concentrated, so consult the product label and follow the clearlg marked lines on the detergent measuring cups.
Excessivedetergent can negativelg impact the wash performance.
