Always use t he AC Power Adapter AC-3VX with t he
camera.
The u se o fan AC power adapter other than A C-3VX can
be damaged toyour digital camera.
• Use t he A C power adapter for i ndoor use o nly.
• Plug the connection cord plug securely into t he DC input
terminal ofthe FUJIFILM Digital camera.
•Turn o ff t he FUJIFILM Digital camera before
disconnecting the cord from the FUJIFILM Digital
camera's DC input terminal. To disconnect, pull out the
plug g ently. Do not pull on the cord.
• Do not use t he A C power adapter with a ny d evice other
than y our camera.
• During use, the AC power adapter will become hot to
the touch. This isnormal.
• Do not take apart the A C power adapter. Doing so could
be dangerous.
• Do not use t he AC power adapter inahot and h umid
place.
• Do not subject the AC power adapter tostrong shocks.
•The A C power adapter may emit ahumming. This i s
normal.
• Ifused near aradio, the AC power adapter may cause
static. Ifthis h appens, move the camera away from the
radio.
Discharging rechargeable
batteries
The Discharging rechargeable batteries function can only
be used with Ni-MH batteries.
The Discharging rechargeable batteries function should
not be used with alkaline batteries as it will completely
drain the battery charge.
Use the Discharging rechargeable batteries function in
the following situations:
• When the batteries only last for a short time after being
charged normally
• When the batteries have not been used for a long period
• When you purchase new Ni-MH batteries
Do not use the Discharging rechargeable batteries
function while using the AC power adapter. In these
situations, the Ni-MH batteries will not be discharged due
to the external power supply.
