• Before
starting
the hedge
trimmer,
make sure the
blade isnot incontact
with a ny object.
• Stop the u nit, remove
the p ower
cord, and m ake
sure the blade has stopped
before
setting
the u nit
down.
• Never cut any m aterial
with adiameter
larger
than
3/4 i n.
• DANGER!
Risk ofcut. Keep hands
away from
blades.
Do not attempt
toremove
cut material
or hold
material
to be cut when blades
are moving.
Keep
both hands
on handles
when power
is on. Make sure
power
cord is removed
and the t rigger
isreleased
when clearing
jammed
material
from blades.
Do not
grasp the e xposed
cutting
blades
or c utting
edges
when picking
up or holding
the u nit,
• Blades
coast after unit is turned
off.
•Always
stop the m otor
when cutting
is delayed
or when
walking
from o ne c utting
location
toanother.
• Keep unit clean of g rass clippings
and o ther materials.
They may become
lodged
in the c utting
blades.

indoors
in adry, locked
up place--

• Replace
scabbard
cover when unit is not inuse.
• Never douse
or s quirt the u nit with w ater or any other
liquid. Keep handles
dry, clean,
and free f rom d ebris.
Clean
after each use; see s torage
instructions.
• Secure
the u nit while transporting.
