Make sure the hose handle switch is in the OFF position. Insert hose end into the Powerbrush wand on the assembled Powerbrush. For proper electrical connection, ensure the spring button lock pops out (Figure 5a).

    POWERBRUSH MAINTENANCE How to Change the Cogged Belt WARNING: Always switch off the Powerbrush and disconnect plug from wall electrical outlet and disconnect the hose before servicing the Powerbrush. Remove the brush cover as described in “Brush Roll Cleaning” steps 1 and 2. Insert a string around the brush roll close to the cogged belt.
