(CUTTING
LIMBS FROM
STANDING
TREE)
Small
limbs
can be cut in onecut.
Larger
limbs should
be
under cut
first
and
then
finish-cut
from
above.
After
the
limb
hasbeen
removed,
another
finishing
cut may be made
closer to the tree,
if desired;
for appearance.
If you
must
cut
higher
limbs
either
by
climbing
the tree,
or standing
on a ladder,
it is advisable
to tie a length
of rope from
the
tree
to the saw handle
so the
saw cannot
fall
very
far
if
you
should drop
it.
Extreme
care should be used in this
type
of cutting'operation.
