1.
Power down the storage system, using the CMC:
a.
Log in to the system from the CMC.
b.
Right–click the storage system and select
Power Off or Reboot.
c.
In the window that opens, select Power off.
Alternatively, you can power down the system by
quickly pressing and releasing the storage system
power button two times.

Extend the storage system from the rack:
a.
Disconnect all peripheral cables and power
cords.
b.
Loosen the front panel thumbscrews.
c.
Extend the storage system on the rack rails
until the storage system rail-release latches
engage.

be sure that the rack is adequately
stabilized before extending a
component from the rack.

Remove the storage system from the rack and
place it on a sturdy, level surface.
4.
To remove the access panel, open the locking
latch, slide the access panel to the rear of the
chassis, and remove the access panel. If the
locking latch is locked, use a T- 1 5 Torx
screwdriver to unlock the latch.
5.
Locate and remove the PCI cage:
a.
Disengage the two PCI riser cage
thumbscrews. Lift the tab, rotate 180
degrees, and the thumbscrew pops up.
b.
Lift the assembly to unseat the PCI riser
boards, and then remove the cage.

Remove the expansion slot cover from the PCI
cage.

To install a new 10 GbE board:
Install the 10 GbE board into the open slot in the
PCI cage until it seats firmly. Tighten the screw to
hold the board in place.
To replace the 10 GbE board:
Remove the existing 10 GbE board and install a
new 10 GbE board into the same slot in the PCI
cage until it seats firmly. Tighten the screw to hold
the board in place.
8.
Align the PCI riser boards with the corresponding
connectors on the system board, and then install
the cage.
9.
Push down on the thumbscrew and rotate 180
degrees.
10. Lower the tab.
1 1. Place the access panel on top of the storage
system with the hood latch open. Allow the panel
to extend past the rear of the storage system
approximately 1.25 cm (0.5 in).
12. Push down on the hood latch. The access panel
slides to a closed position.
13. Use the T- 1 5 Torx screwdriver provided with the
storage system to tighten the security screw on
the hood latch.
14. Place the storage system back in the rack,
reconnect all peripheral cables, and power on
the storage system.
15. If the 4330 is currently in a management group,
do the following:
