Full Range Enclosure Systems

Your new Kicker SS-Series Full-Range System is equipped with boundary-loaded bass
vents which couple with your vehicle's interior for enhanced bass response. For most
effective bass loading the rear of the enclosure must be mounted within three inches
to four inches from the rear of the vehicle.
After determining the mounting position, turn the enclosure upside-down and
attach the four mounting brackets to the bottom of the enclosure using the
enclosed small screws. Each bracket must be positioned so the rounded end pro-
trudes approximately 3/4 inch from under the cabinet to allow a screw to easily pass
through it for attachment to the vehicle.
Plug the speaker wires securely into the left and right speaker terminals. Make cer-
tain the polarity is the same on both sides. Failure to do this will result in the two
channels being out of phase and will drastically reduce bass performance.
Position the enclosure in its mounting position and securely attach it to the vehicle
with the enclosed large screws. If the brackets and screws are not applicable to your
installation, some other means must be used to secure the enclosure to your vehicle.

To avoid potential injury from forward movement of the enclosure during abrupt stops
or accidents, this enclosure must be properly installed and securely fastened to you
vehicle.
