AUDIO SETUP
COMPRESSION:
Boosts frequency response. Set this item between "OFF"
and "MAX" .
LPCM OUTPUT:
Select "LPCM 96K" or "LPCM 48K" for this item.
NOTE:
• It is not possible to connect speakers directly to the player;
an AV amplifier must be used.
LANGUAGE SETUP
OSD LANGUAGE:
You can select the default OSD language of the player
menus.
AUDIO:
You can select the default audio language if supported
by the DVD.
SUBTITLE:
You can select the default subtitle language if supported
by the DVD.
DISC MENU:
You can select the DVD menu language. The disc menu
is displayed in the selected language, if supported by the
DVD.
PARENTAL SETUP
Playing of DVDs can be restricted depending on the age of
user. Parental control function allows the parent to set the
playback restriction level.
PARENTAL (Parental Level):
Parental Level can be adjusted to one of the eight levels.
This restricts viewing to only DVDs with the same or lower
rating as that of the parental level. Level "8 ADULT" al-
lows viewing of all DVD titles regardless of the rating of
the DVD.
PASSWORD:
Password to change the parental level can be set by using
this item. Factory preset of the password is : 0000.
You have to enter digital password XXXX every time you
want to change the parental level.
Change Password:
Use this function to change the password.
To change the password you will be prompted to enter your
old password. After you have entered your old password,
you can enter a new 4-digit password.
Entering the new password once is not enough, it should
also be confirmed. Confirm the new password by entering
it in the confirm password box.
Press SELECT to move to the confirm password box.
• You can use C to delete the incorrect entry.
