Box
and
VCR
Requirements.
Be sure to read these requirements carefully. They contain
important information you need to ensure thatStarSight
performs properly.
•
A VCR is required for recording
capability. To take
full advantage
of StarSight,
your VCR must be
controllable
by a wireless infrared remote control.
Otherwise,
StarSight
can still provide program
information,
but will not be able to automatically
tune to or record a specific program
on your VCR.
•
If your VCR remote control does not have a number
pad with at least 10 digits, StarSight
will be unable
to tune the VCR.
•
If you have a Cable Box, it must be controllable
by a
wireless infrared remote control.
•
Your Cable company should be able to provide a
remote-controlled
Cable Box, if you do not already
have one.
Your StarSight-equipped
television
is not designed
to operate with, or control, a satellite dish. For
information
on StarSight
products specifically
designed for satellite systems, see your local satellite
dealer.
