CHANNEl.
LABELS
Assign Labels to Channels
1.
From the Special Features
menu, press the
Up/Down arrow key to highlight
Ch. (Channel)
Labels.
2.
Press Left/Right arrow key to view Channel
Label
screen.
3.
Select a channel by using CHANNEL
Up/Down
key
or key-in channel
number with numbered
keys.
4.
Use the Left/Right/Up/Down
arrow keys to move
label selector
to appropriate
channel label which
will add label to channel number.
5.
To create a custom label, press Timer to access
custom labels screen. Follow on-screen
instructions.
Use Up/DownlLeftlRight
arrow keys
to select each digit and customize
your channel
label. Press TIMER to exit menu and return to Ch.
Labels menu.
Repeat steps 3 through 5 for each channel.
6.
Press QUIT to remove menu.
Notes:
Ch. Labels can only be used with ANT/CABLE 1 or 2 Source.
Selecting the four dashes ( ....
) specifies that no channel la-
bel is assigned and that the broadcaster may supply a channel
label. Or, in addition to not assigning a label, NONE blocks the
sl;ttion or network labels that are transmitted by some television sta-
tions.

Assign Identifying Names To Your Sources
1.
In the Special Features
Menu, press the Up/Down
arrow key to highlight Source ID.
2., Press the Left/Right
arrow key to view the Source
ID screen.
3.
Press the Up/Down arrow key to highlight
a Source.
4,
Press the Left/Right
arrow key repeatedly
to choose
a label for the chosen Source.
5.
Press QUIT to remove menu.
Optional names for AN17CABLE Source are: .... , Dis-
abled, Antenna, Cable, Cable Box, VCR, Satellite, Video
Game, Laser Disc or DVD.
Optional names for VIDEO and S-Video Sources are: .... ,
Disabled, VCR, Satellite, Camcorder, Video Game, Laser
Disc, DVD, Photo CD or Audio Only.
Note:
Disabling a Source prevents it from appearing in the Source
Menu.
