Tip
• Adjust tile picture using tile TRACKINC +_ buttons if:
Streaks appear while playing ill slow motion.
Bands appear at the top or bottom while pausing.
The picture shakes during pause.
Notes
• Tapes recorded ill LP mode on other VCRs call be played back on this VCR but tile picture
quality cahoot be guaranteed.
• The counter resets to "0:00:00" whenever a tape is reinserted.
• The counter stops couoting when it comes to a portion with no recording.
• When 10 hours have passed, tile counter ill tile display window returns to "0:00:00" and the
CO/lnt starts over again.
• No sound is output during playback at various speeds.
• The picture may show noise when playing at high speed ill reverse.
• While playing a tape, you call display the setup menu, but tile remote commander's
function
switches to DVD autonlatically. Press d% RETURN repeatedly to exit the menu.
• When playback does not start even if you insert a tape with its safety tab removed, set "Auto
Play" to "On" ill the "VIDEO FUNCTION SETUP" menu (page 94).
• Stop disc playback while playing back a video.
• The VCR call also play S-VHS tapes recorded by S-VHS mode. The VCR will automatically
identil} the type of tape inserted ill tile VCR (either VHS or S-VHS). When S-VHS tapes are
played ill tile VCR, the enhanced resolution will not be visible oil screen: there may also be
picture distortion while playing the S-VHS tape ill slow motion or while utilizing other
special playback modes. Tile VCR will not record ill S-VHS mode on all S-VHS tape.
• The playback of S-VHS tapes recorded ill EP/LP mode cannot be guaranteed.
