Reinstalling device drivers
The Microsoft® Windows® XP operating system is capable of reinstalling the
original I_ctery_instatled device drivers, without t_sing _he Application Recover'
CD(s),
I Click Start in the Windows taskbar, then right-click My Computer. A
shortcut menu appears,
2 Click Properties. The System Properties dialog box appears,

From [he Hardware tab, click _he Device Manager butch.
Right-click to select the unknown device t or the device that requires the
driver installation and click Update Driver from [he shortcut metal. The
Hardware Update Wizard appears,

Logon to go te [he Windows® dcsktop,
insert Application Recover' CD #1 into the optical disc drive, The VAI'O
welcome window appears. Click OK, then click Quit to close the Sony
Application Recover' t_tility,
Without removing the Avplication Recover' CD l¥om the optical drive,
click Nart in the Windows taskbar and then right-click My Computer. A
shortcut menu appears,
Click Properties, The System Properties dialog box appears,
