_FE
Lock*
FE lock locks the flash exposure setting over the desired area of the
subject. This feature also works with external EXosenes Speedlites.
* FE stands for Flash Exposure.
Press
the <2>
button
to pop-up
the built-in
flash.
_ Press the shutter button halfway and
look in the viewfinder to check that
the <_> icon is lit.

Focus
the subject.

_ Aim the view, f inder center over the
subject where you want to lock the flash
exposure, then press the <_>
button.
_y,, T he flash will fire a preflash and the
required flash output is calculated
and retained in memory.
_y,, I n the viewfinder,
"FEL" is displayed
for a moment and <_>
will light.
_ Eachtime you press the <95> button,a
preflash is fired and the requiredflash output
is calculatedand retained in memory.
_I_ Take the picture°
_ Compose the shot and press the
shutter button completely,
