1)   MODE   1   -­‐   I t   w ill   s how   t he   p laying   p oint   i ndicator   a round   t he   r ing.   Y ou   c an   a djust   t he   s etting   v alue   r ange   1   o f  
smallest   i ndicator   t o   2 3   o f   f ull   c ircle   i ndicator.  
2)   MODE  2  -­‐  It  will  indicate  the  playing  point  opposite  (onoff  /  offon)  when  the  Jog  Wheel  is  touched.  You  
can   a djust   t he   s etting   v alue   r ange   1   o f   s mallest   i ndicator   o ff   t o   2 3   o f   f ull   c ircle   o ff.  
3)   MODE  3  -­‐  It  will  show  the  playing  point  indicator  around  the  ring  and  flash  to  the  playing  level  in  both  sides.  
You   c an   a djust   t he   s etting   v alue   r ange   1   o f   s mallest   p laying   p oint   i ndicator   t o   2 3   o f   f ull   c ircle   i ndicator.  
4)   MODE   4   -­‐   I t   w ill   f lash   t o   t he   p laying   l evel   a round   t he   r ing.  
5)   MODE   5   -­‐   I t   w ill   a lways   o n.   Y ou   c an   a djust   t he   s etting   b rightness   r ange   1   t o   1 00.  
6)   MODE  6  -­‐  It  will  flash  related  to  the  setting  speed.  You  can  adjust  the  setting  speed  range  1  of  fast  flash  to  
100   o f   s low   f lash.  
7)   MODE   7   -­‐   I t   w ill   s how   t he   p laying   p oint   s imilar   t o   t rail   e ffect.  
8)   MODE   8   -­‐   I t   w ill   l ight   w hen   t he   J og   W heel   i s   t ouched.

TAP   B utton:   T his   b utton   i s   u sed   f or   m anual   B PM.   W hen   i n   m anual   B PM   m ode,   t ap   t his   b utton   t o   t he   b eat   o f   t he   c urrent  
track.   H old   t he   T AP   b utton   f or   1   s ec.   t o   a ctivate   A uto   B PM.  
 
10.   Pitch   Bend   Buttons:   The   desired   pitch   of   CD   decreases   or   increases   when   this   button   is   pressed   and   returns   to   the  
original   p itch   w hen   t he   b utton   i s   r eleased.  
 
11.   SAMPLE   B utton:

12.   BANK  Buttons  1~4:  These   b uttons   a re   u sed   t o   s tore   e ither   f our   c ue   p oints   o r   f our   s amples.   E ach   B ank   B utton   c an   s tore  
either  a  sample  or  a  cue  point.  To  play  your  programmed  samples,  press  the  Sample  button  and  then  press  the  Bank  
Program   b utton.

13.   SAVE   B uttons:   T his   b utton   c an   b e   u sed   i n   c ouple   o f   w ays:

Press   this   button   to   activate   the   memory   mode,   the   save   button   LED   will   glow   when   active.   After   the   memory  
mode   i s   a ctivated,   p ress   y our   d esired   b ank   b utton   t o   s tore   y our   C UE   p oint   o r   p laying   l oop.

To   store   your   loops   and   cue   points   that   are   saved   in   the   BANKS   to   the   system   memory   for   next   time,   press   the  
MEMORY   b utton   f or   1   s ec.  
NOTE:   R ECALL   M EMORY   –   T he   C MP.800   c an   s tore   2 000   p rogrammed   c ue   p oints   i n   5 00   t racks   f or   C D   a nd   4   p rogrammed  
cue   p oints   p er   t rack   i n   t he   U SB   d evice.   T hese   s etting   m ay   b e   r ecalled   a t   a ny   t ime,   e ven   w hen   a n   a udio   s ource   h as   b een  
removed   a nd   l oaded   a t   a   l ater   t ime.  
To  recall  the  bank  memory  with  CD/USB  device:  1)  Turn  the  TRACK  knob  to  select  the  track  which  with  the  BANKS  and  
"Load  Cues?"  will  be  shown  on  the  VFD,  press  MIDI  PLAYER  A  (Y)  to  load  or  press  MIDI  PLAYER  B  (N)  not  to  load.  Or  2)  
press   t he   S AVE   b utton,   L ED   o n,   a nd   t urn   t he   T RACK   k nob   t o   s elect   t he   T RACK   w ith   B ANKS   t hat   y ou   w ould   l ike   t o   r ecall.  
 
14.   CLEAR   Button:   Press   CLEAR   button,   LED   on,   or   hold   the   CLEAR   button   to   select   the   BANK   buttons   you   would   like   or  
clear.  
 
15.   Play/Pause   B utton:   E ach   p ress   o f   t he   b utton   e ngages   p layback   o r   p auses   t he   t rack.  
 
16.   Cue  Button:   P ressing   t he   C ue   b utton   d uring   p layback   a nd   r eturns   t he   t racks   t o   t he   l ast   s et   c ue   p oint.   W hen   t he   s ong   i s  
paused,   p ress   t he   C ue   b utton   t o   s et   a   n ew   C ue   p oint.   H old   d own   t he   C ue   b utton   t o   e ngage   C ue   p layback   u ntil   r eleased.    
 
17.   Cue  Play  Button:  Press   t he   b utton   t o   r eturn   p oint   a nd   p laying   i mmediately.   Y ou   c an   a lso   t ap   t he   b utton   t o   c reate   a   C UE  
RETURN   e ffect.  
 
18.   Search   B uttons:  
 
  This   s earch   b utton   a llows   y ou   t o   q uickly   s can   b ackwards   t hrough   a   t rack.  
 
  This   s earch   b utton   a llows   y ou   t o   q uickly   s can   f orwards   t hrough   a   t rack.
19.   Next   Track   Button:  
While  either  playing  a  track  or  in  pause  mode,  press  this  button  to  search  for  the  next  track  you  
want   to   play.   NEXT   TRACK   indicators   will   flash.   Now   you   can   turn   the   FOLDER   or   TRACK   knob   to   search   for   the   next  
track.   P ress   t he   M ENU   b utton   y ou   f ound   y our   d esired   t rack.  
 
20.   TRACK   K nob:   T his   k nob   h as   t hree   f unctions.  
a.  
The   k nob   i s   u sed   t o   s elect   a   t rack.   T urning   t rack   k nob   w ill   f orward/backward   s kip   t o   n ext   t rack.  
b.  
Holding   d own   a nd   t urning   t rack   k nob   w ill   r apidly   f orward/backward   s kip   t hrough   t he   t racks   b y   1 0   t racks   p er   c lick.  
c.  
Press   t rack   k nob   t o   s witch   f ile   n ame/title   ( ID3)/artist   ( ID3)/Album   ( ID3)/Genre   ( ID3)   o n   t he   V FD.
