To removegrasscatcher,lift rear dischargedoor on themower.Lift
grasscatcherup and off the slotsin the handlebrackets.Releaserear
dischargedoor to allowit to close rearopeningof mower,

Yourmoweris shippedas a rnulcher.Toconvertto side discharge,
makesuregrass catcheris off of the unitand reardischargedoor is
closed.

Slidetwo hooksof side dischargecoverunder hingepin on
mulchingcoverassembly.Lowermulchingcover.Do not remove
side mulchingcoverat anytime, evenwhen youare not mulching.

Thereis a cuttingheightadjustmentleverlocatedabovethe front and
rear rightwheel,

Pull the heightadjustmentleveroutwardtowardswheel(unitwill
tendto fall whenleveris movedoutward).See Figure10,

Moveleverto desiredpositionfor a changein cuttingheight.See
Figure10.

Releaselevertowardsdeck.
IMPORTANT: A ll wheels mustbe placedin the sameposition.For
roughor unevenlawns,moveeachheightadjustmentleverto a higher
position.This will preventyoufrom cuttingthe grass tooclose to the
ground,

Pitch
Forconvenienceof operation,you mayadjustthe pitch of the handle
as follows:

Removewing nuts and carriagebolts from handle,See Figure11,

Positionthe handlein one of the threepositionsthat is most
comfortable,See Figure11inset,

Secureintopositionwith wingnuts and carriagebolts removed
earlier,
