Frequently Asked Questions
Answer
Words cannot be removed
from the database. When the
database becomes full, the
least used word is removed
to allow entry of an
additional word.
Words in the User Database
are limited to 32 characters
in length.
To create a capital letter,
press and hold
text entry mode appears in all
capital letters (i.e. "word"
will change to "WORD").
The next letter you type will
be a capital letter. The text
entry mode will then return
to the default, lowercase.
To avoid losing your existing
lists, you must send them
from your phone to the Web
site first.
Use the convenience of List
Manager to set up your
Speed Dial, Private ID, or
Talkgroup list. Once the
names and numbers are
entered, "send" the list(s)
from the Web site to your
phone.
