The idle speed may need to be adjusted
after making the mixture adjustment.
If"
the tines do not turn when the engine is
running and the throttle control is
released, the idle speed will not need
adjusting. If the tines turn when the
throttle control is released, do the
following:
• Have someone tilt the cultivator back
on its depth stake so that the tines are
off the ground.
• Start the engine.
• With the throttle in the released (idle)
position, turn the idle speed adjusting
screw countemlockwise until the tines
stop rotating.

CAUTION:
Never tamper with the en-
gine governor which is factory set for proper
engine speed. Over-speeding the engine
above the factory set high speed can be
dangerous. If you think the engine-governed
high speed needs adjusting, contact your
nearest Craftsman Service Center.
