    1.1. PREFACE GV-R9000 prov ides high-end performance to the m ainstream graphics market at a competitive price point. GV-R9000 features four parallel, highly optimized rendering pipelines usually available only for the high-end gaming cards that significantly enhance perfor mance an d game-pl ay respon siveness by doubli ng the p ixel fill rate compared to the standard 2-pipeline architectures found in most mid-range products.

    2.3. HARDWARE INSTALLATION Installing Your Graphics card. Now that you have prepared your computer, you are ready to install your graphics accelerator card. To install your graphics accelerator card: 1. Power off the computer and monitor, then disconnect the display cable from the back of your computer.
