TROUBLESHOOTING POINTS

CAUSE

1. Faulty operator-safety presence controt system..
1o Worn, bent or loose blade.
2_ Mower deck not level.
3. Buitdupof grass, leaves, and trash under mower,
4. Bent b_ade mandrel
5. Clogged mower deck vent holes from buildup of
grass, leaves, and trash around mandrels.
1. Obstructionin clutchmechanism.
2, Worn/damagedmower drive b elt,
3, Frozenidlerpuliey,
4. Frozenblade mandrel,
Io Engine speed toosIow.
2, Travel speed too fast
3o Wet grass.
4o Mower deck not level,

1. Engine throlUe control not set at "SLOW"
position for 30 seconds before slopping engine
CORRECTION
1. Check wiring, switches and connections. If not
corrected, contaot an authorized service center/
department.
1, Replace blade_ Tighten blade bolt.,
2, Level mower deck.
3 Clean underside of mower housing,,
4 Replace b_ade mandrel,
5, Clean around mandrels to open vent holes.
1. Remove obstruction..
2 Replace mower drive belt.
3 Replace idler pulley.
4,, Replace blade mandrel
1_ Place throttle control In =FAST" position.
2, Shift to slower speed.
3, Allow grass to dry before mowing_
4 Level mower deck,
5, Cheek tires for proper air pressure,
6 Replace/sharpen bTadeo Tighten blade bolt.
7. Clean underside of mower housing,
B, Replace mower drive bait°
9,. Reinstall blades sharp edge down
10, Replace with blades listed [n this manual,
11. Clean around mandrels to open vent holes.
1, Turn switch "ON".
2, Replace bulb(s),
3 Check/replace light switch
4_ Check wIdng and connections,
5, Replace fuse,
1, Replace battery°
2, Check/clean all connect_ns
34 Replace regulator.
4, Replace alternator
Move throttle control to "SLOW" position and allow
to idle for 30 seconds before stopping engine.
