This chapter describes how to use some functions
contained in the system, i.e. listen to the radio, how to listen
to an external source, how to select a listening mode and
how to use the sleep timer.

To listen to preset radio stations
Preset radio stations into the system' s memory first (see
"Presetting Radio Stations" on page 18).

1 Press the SOURCE button on the main unit repeatedly until
"FM" or "AM" appears on the front panel display.
You can also press the TUNER button to select FM or AM
directly.
The last received station is tuned in.
2 Press the STA + or STA - button repeatedly to select the
preset station you want. Each time you press the button,
the system tunes in one preset station at a time.
You can also use the number buttons to select a preset
station number directly.
3 Adjust the volume level by pressing the ADJ/VOL + or -.
This system has a built in Dolby Pro Logic decoder, so you
can enjoy the live sound in Dolby Surround. For details,
see "Selecting Listening Modes" on page 44.
4 To turn off the radio, press the STANDBY button.
