SUBJECT LOWER COVER AND CONDUIT BOX
AFFECTED SJ200 AND L200, ¼ hp (0.2 kW) through 5 hp (3.7/4.0 kW),
MODELS SJ200CB-SB, SJ200CB-MB (CONDUIT BOXES)
The design of the front lower wiring terminal cover on the listed models of L200
and SJ200 has been improved, starting with June 2005 production. The purpose
of this change is to make opening of the cover easier. The new cover removal
method is shown below:
This upgrade necessitates that a design change be made to the corresponding
conduit boxes. The current conduit box design does not allow clearance for
removal of the new inverter cover. The existing conduit boxes will be
discontinued immediately. The new design will be universally compatible with
both the old and new design inverter. The new conduit boxes will be available
from Hitachi America stock starting in July 2005. Please order using the part
numbers in the table below.
