1 = thread tension mechanically opened
0 = thread tension mechanically closed
If the additional thread tension is open, it remains open when the
sewing foot is lifted.
When the machine is switched off, the previously set status of the
additional thread tension is maintained via the net.
In case of a repair seam the thread tensions should remain closed
when the sewing foot is lifted. Here the adjustment of parameter F-196
for the function of the main thread tensi on and the additional thread
tension depending on the sewing foot lift (NFL) is not effective.
In order that the repair seam can be quickly engaged or disengaged, a
parameter adjustment has to be done first.
Repair seam with key "A" of the Efka control panel V810/V820: set
parameter F-293 to 18.
Repair seam with key "B" of the Efka control panel V810/V820: set
parameter F-294 to 18.
By actuating key "A" or "B" of the Efka control panel V810 or V820 (see
operating instructions) the repair seam can quickly be engaged or
disengaged with the thread tension always closed.
If the repair seam had been switched on, it has to be switched off again
at the end with the same key of the Efka control panel so that
parameter F-196 is effective again.
