3. APPEARANCE AND COMPONENTS PARTS

3.1 PPU (Presenter, Auto-cutter, Printer Mechanical Unit)

Front Door
(1) Power Switch
Switch to turn ON/OFF presenter power.
(Mountable on any side, left or right.)
(2) FEED Switch
This switch, when pressed, feeds and cuts paper and ejects the paper from the
presenter.
(This switch is mountable on any side, left or right.)
(3) Power Connector
Connector for connecting the AC adapter (31AD) supplied with the printer.
(This connector is mountable at 6 places shown in 4.1.1.)
(4) Presenter
Conveys the printed paper.
(5) Auto-cutter
Cuts the printed paper.
(6) DIP Switch Cover
The DIP switch under this cover sets the default value at power on and various
functions of the printer.
(See "5. Setting DIP Switches".)
(7) Interface Connectors
Connects the interface cable for communication. Both serial and parallel
connectors are provided.
(8) Head up Lever
Used when loading or replacing paper.
(9) Knob
Used for manually feeding paper.
(10) Front Door
Opening this door allows removal of paper in the printer.
