Compensating the Exposure

Use this function when you cannot achieve appropriate exposure due to the
difference in brightness between the subject and the background. Look at the
following examples.
Press the rear dial to select [È], and
then rotate the rear dial to
compensate the exposure.
A Exposure compensation value
•
Enabled operation will switch every time the
rear dial is pressed.
•
Exposure compensation operation is enabled
when [È] at the bottom left of the screen
changes to orange.
•
The exposure compensation value can be set
within a range of j3 EV to i3 EV.
•
Select [È] only to return to the original
exposure (0 EV).
