Usage preparations 3.1 Load batteries and memory card Open the battery cover and put in 3 AAA new alkaline batteries according to the polarity indicated on the battery door, then insert the memory card, close the cover.   • Page 31 6. Common problems 6.1 Camera will not turn on 1. Battery is not properly installed: Remove and reinstall the batteries. 2. Insufficient battery voltage: Do not use old batteries or batteries with mixed battery life. It is not recommended to use rechargeable batteries with lower voltage.
